I'm looking for a good tannery in the west to tan deer and elk capes,
I live in north eastern Utah, does any one know of a tannery close to my location.

Call Van at 208-435-4822, he's in Pierce Id. They started up a couple years ago, and are putting out some really nice capes.
I met a couple of real nice fellas at the Nationals,Jacob and Ben Emrich. They run and operate "Montana Rockey Mountain Fur Dressers" out of Great Falls, Mt.(406)761-2147
They're both very personal and do an excelent job on they're hides.

There is a new tanner is Spanish Fork, Mitchells Tannery. Fox Valley furs is in North Salt Lake I believe. There is a good tannery is western Wyoming also but I don't have that name handy. I can get it if you need more. Send me an email if you need more help.
