I have made the mistake of spreading a tanned deer hide over my chest freezer in my non-airconditioned shop. The freezer lid has sweated in the heat and humidity and my tanned hide was very moist and covered with mold. Is there anything I can do to save it? Thanks
Try wiping it of with water,salt and some kind of bacteriacide mixed in. This should cure your problem.
