i will be useing the flesh all is it easier to pickle the hide and shave it or skip the pickle and tan and then shave. thanks for any help.
some do before, some do after, its your choice, you have to do what works for you. try it all and see what you like.
Chris, Its best to pickle than shave before tanning. You want to make sure the liquid tan absorbes all the way through the skin, Which makes it easier on a well shaved cape. Easier does not make it better or right. Paul
