Can any tanning experts out there advise how to tan so that
the skin stays flexible?
I want to mount a rat on a flexible form so that it
can be moved into different positions after its dry.
Thanks.
Now I have never tried this and I have no idea whether this will work or not, but hear is my idea. What if you did a conventional tan, and then apply glycerin like is sometimes used on snake skins. This may give the skin a rubbery or flexable quality. If you have a lot of rats maybe you could try it. But, if there is a way that has been done I betcha Cur will know it.
