I am curious, what are some thoughts on the one hour tan from Authentic supply. I heard it was Lutan based with some type of accelerator. Does anyone know very much about it? Thanks, Lance

The only accelerator I know of, be it with Lutan-FN, Liqua Tan,Easy-100 or any other "Tan" would be by by means of the Auto Tanner! "If its too good to be true, then it usually is'nt!"
Other than with the use of DP, there are realy no short cuts to tanning.If you're looking for a way to speed up the tanning process, I would invest in a Auto Tanner.
If you realy want an answer to your question,call any or all the tanneries out there and see if they tan by the product you're interested in. This should give you the answer to your question.

During the time of ancient rome, cattle hides often took up to two years to tan with the method used at that time. Now we have tanning down to a couple of weeks. Now, considering the complexity of the tanning process, that is a lot of progress over the last 2000 years, I think.
With regard to a "One Hour Tan", there just ain't no such thing. Over my career as an artist and taxidermist, I have seen a lot of "miracle" things come and go in this field. Many fine improvements and items have arrived to stay, though, since they proved themselves worthy and capable of performing as advertised. Quick tans are not one of them. I know of no method to create leather in one hour's time. Lord knows, in today's world, we all want to cut production times to minimums, but there are just some things that just can't be done well at the sacrifice of time. Tanning and sex are among those that come to mind. (With our current appetite for doing things quickly, it is no surprise that there are so many angry women.)
There was a time when the end quality of a product mattered much more than the time it took to produce it. Fine leathers are not just plug and play items. Neither are wimmen.....

Lance, Ihave made the big mistake of useing this product and had no luck. I have learned a big lesson. It is nothing like Liqu- Tan or anything else. And I'm sure the tanneries are not useing this stuff. I use it on a hog and a axis deer with to many problems to go over. I sure hope you have not bought it yet. If you have, GOOD LUCK!
