I really don't beleive any tanning chemical smells pleasant
but I live at home while I am still in college, and my shop
and bedroom are both in the basement(get my drift) And with
my business starting to pick up this year all I ever smell
is strong tanning odor. So my question is, is there a quality
tan somewhere out there that will work on mountable skins
with a smell I can live with(literally)
Thank you for any response
It's almost an impossibility that someone could identify a particular tanning agent by its smell. However, some tanning oils do impart an odor. This is especially true of fish oil based oils that tend to breakdown and oxidize. Obviously the way to avoid this is to invest in using good stable oils - the ones that do not break down. You may pay more - but in the long run, you'll usually have a very penetrating oil and "almost" odor free oiled skin. By the way - no matter what oil you use - they all have some degree of odor, its simply a matter of how loud (or smelly) it becomes with age. When you decide what tanning agent you will want to use - check with your supplier - or contact me here at Rittels, and we can recommend an excellent tanning oil to use.
Get the Rhinehart tanning cream . It has a fairly pleasant aroma,
a little like lanolin.
