Rittels Bacteriacide shelf life

I just ran up on a bottle of Rittels bacteriacide that's a little over a year old. is this stuff still good?

If it was stored tightly capped - it should still be good. Once mixed however - its only got a 8 months persistency life - and then its effectiveness is gone! This is a good thing - because many of the older bacteriacides never stopped killing bacteria, even after dumping. You can kill a lot of fish that way!

To use it we recommend mixing it - 1 fl. oz. to every 8 gallons of solution. It doesnt take much to do an excellent job! It's a Tannery proven Bacteriacide product!
