Hello, I have a squirrel skin and would like to try to
tan it myself. Is there a simple formula for tanning
a hide, with ingredients I can buy locally? And what
steps do I need to do first? second? ...
I am very new to this. Any help will be appreciated.

You can do a Alum tan. Just chack out Bruce Rittel's site and Mark from Knobloch's will have info on this.
