O.K. I have searched the archives, and I'm still not sure what method to use. I salt, shake, and resalt just as we all know how to do. Rough flesh, put cape in tanner(using lutan-f instructions) for about 2 hours. Remove cape, final flesh, back to pressure tanner over night. I then dry it, apply Liqua-tan, let dry for several days(until hard), rehydrate, tumble w/oak saw dust, then mount it immediately. I'm not sure when to use the "pickle", if I even need to, or what recipe of pickle I do use. Will someone please help me. I have done 7 deer this way and I think I'm getting pretty good results, but could they be better?
