I am following the directions for liquatan as given to me. I have applied it to the hide and rolled it and am now waiting for 6 hours before I mount. The question I have is can I wash the hide after the 6 hours or will that remove the tanning solution. I am worried about the hair being greasy afterwards and want to wash it.

I wash them but let the hide sit over night then wash, tumble and mount.
just tumble in sawdust it will absorb any tanning oil that might of got in the hair no need washing added step equals wasted time..
