I bought an elk cape off of this site and it was wet tanned then dried in order to be shipped. How should I go about rehydrating it again. Thanks in advance for any help.

You can use maybe 1/4 lb of salt per gallon of water if it was tanned
with alum, if it was tanned with any of Knoblochs products use just
water and soak. Once rehydrated then place in a bag and sweat overnite.
