I just ordered my firts flesher (dakota 4). I was wondering if anyone had any tips on building the bench to mount it to, heigth and width of working surface?

Thanks
Mick

I ordered one a few years ago, that had a bench built in. I took it apart and built my own. The old table hert my back. because your crouched over it. I would build the table so you could stand up, and lean over it,so you can feel it in your shoulders not your back.
Depending on what your planning to tan your self, the size of the table you will need. Hope this helps. I'm sure everybody likes it different.

Fleshing Table

Mick
I built mine out of a inexpensive 30" melemine base cabinet from Menards that I mounted some good castors with brakes and an old solid core door covered with FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Panel) or I'm sure you could use formica . This way you have a fleshing table that is mobile and also you have some extra storage that I'm sure we all need.
Good Luck

Thank you
