Yes - You can use a tumbler to soften furs - If - its at least 4" wide by 6" high (or bigger) and you load it with 100 Lbs. of sawdust! Otherwise you will be just wasting your time! I also like to run a full load of furs - because their weight also adds to the softening effect!
