I just got a wet tanned elk cape from a friend and it has some greyish fine mold on the skin side in a few spots.it smells moldy also ,but looks to be in good shape.Will this bother the mount if I wash it real good in dawn or something before I mount it up.I never worked with a wet tan before and never had this mold problem .any help would be great.Thank you,
