I have two Buffalo hides salted hard
What is the best way to store them so the bugs-flies-etc. don't get to them until I can get them sent to a tannery? (probably 2-3 months away)

any where dry will do. and because of the time of year bugs should not be a real big problem. i store all my salted hides and skins in my basement, with a dehumidifier running. if your basement is rather dry a fan will do the trick. its hard for hides and skins to condensate while the air is circulating.also set mouse traps close by just incase. and keep the family dog at a distance. it just my be too tempting for him. good luck jz
