Mr.Rittel could you please give me the formula for making a pickle using oxalic acid.I was recently given quite a bit of the stuff.I have an MSDS sheet on it and am aware of the safety hazards but I am not sure how to mix it or the proper way to dispose of the pickle.I understand this is a good acid to use for pickling.Any help would be greatly appreciaed.THANKS.

Add enough acid to the water to drop the pH to 1.5-2.0 add salt until the salinometer says 85%. There it is not rocket sceince, yet.
I sent the formula seperately so you can use it as a future reference. Using 1 Oz. of Oxalic acid crystals will drop your PH down to about 1.5. That's good for Oxalic acid pickling. good luck.
