question for john c, about post from 3/12/01

in a post dated 3/12/01 john, you mentioned that you had something react with dawn soap and cause clorine gas,,, the post was about salt additives,,, could you explain what happened?
( i cant use the search untill i can get new computer so im going threw the posts one at a time , way back in time lol )

I think it was borax that this happened with.

Its been a year ago and I would have to research the question, but I have found several items which we consider harmless that release chlorine when mixed. So be careful. I have quit mixing any chemicals as my algbra is rusty and I dont need to figure out which chemicals are compatable.
