Six years ago i tanned a gray fox hide with the help of an elderly gentelman who has since passed away. The hide came out perfect. He used Muriatic acid pickle and a chromium potasium sulfate tan. I know that you guys don't like muriatic acid pickles but every one i have shownthe fox hide to said it was one of the best they had ever seen. What i need to know is, is there any one out there that has a good chrom tan recipe. Thank you very much in advance. Duke
