What is the difference.Wich is better.Is pre tan actually a pickle.Does it sterilize the skin like the acid does.Does it plump up the skin good.I have already searched the archives I could not find the answer I was looking for.

Have you queried Knoblachs about the Pre Tan? They are the ones I'd ask.
The main difference is that citric acid will hold a lower ph,
the nice thing about Pre Tan is that it will plump the skin nice and
shaves great, You can leave the skin in the solution up to 14 hours then shave and rinse, no need for neutralizing or worrying about that.
Drain for about 2 hours then Liqua Tan
been tring taxidermy for about a year, have only used Van Dykes picking crystals. use liqua tan and curatan and have exellant resolts. there safe and they work almost worry safe just check your PH and keep below 2ph and alls fine. works for me. have a good one..............
