Is there a way to restore a dry rotted hyde and put together the areas that have fallen apart. Thanks Susy

You can STABILIZE a flat skin that has dry rot, It is very time consuming and expensive. We use a liquid latex product, and build a felxible cast on the skin side of the hide. The end product is fragile, but stable. E-mail if you want more info.

there are things you can do sometimes...

I have taken buckskin splits(thin leather) and glued them to the back side of dry rotted areas, with decent results. depending on the animal and the area all may not be lost
