I am in a bind
Tanning 8 beaver with ez 100 must have over neutralized.
I can't get the tan pH under 6 and have added approx 1/2 cup safety acid. I have that much left. Hides have been tanning for about 3 hours
Should I start with a new batch of tan or add the acid to bring down. If it is not enough I don't have any more. Can I use sulfuric acid or oxylic acid to bring down? Is it okay to mix acids in the tan?
