I was wondering if I could shampoo my wet tanned hides before mounting so as to get rid of the oil in the fur. I have seen posts on adding mineral spirits to the sawdust the clean the fur but I was wondering if shampoo would work. Thanks in advance to any replies.

Epo-Grip's new degreaser.....Shampoo? That is a new one. Maybe Head and Shoulder's will stop shedding? Or Clairol's "For Blonde's Only" for those lighter capes?
