when preparing a large alligator head for mounting using a pickle/tan should they be fleshed and salted prior to pickle? What is the best pickle bath for large alligators (10-11 ft.),with minimal color loss. I know there was a seminar with Voyer last week but I could not get to it. Thanks for your help.
