hi, im getting a coon ready for mounting. this is my first and its really greasy. its fleshed, dos it get anything done now before salting or dos it go right from the fleshing beam to the salt room? thanks

You're on the right track, go ahead and salt it. The salt will draw out the moisture, which will also draw out some grease with it. After you pickle the skin, finish fleshing and thinning it, then run it in a seperate degreasing bath, go back in the pickle for a day, then tan and it should come out just fine.
