Can I salt and pickle a hide in 90 degree + temperatures without harming the hide? If not, what is the best temp. for salt and pickle?

Its a bit warm to salt a hide now at arounf 75 its ok but put a fan on it. At 90 the hide will slip the hair. Pickle temps of 90 are not that bad, I would prefer cooler temps my self.
Remember heat allows bacteria to grow at a acelortated rate.
