I haven't found anything in the archives on tanning bears in the auto-tanner.I am tanning a bear now in arrowhead tanning crystals,the skin is fleshed clean and I put in four gallons of solution,enough to submerge the hide.I will pull it out after one hour to reposition it so that the tan is more evenly dispersed and then tan for one more hour.Then shave and repeat as above.I spoke to Steve Rotramel on it and he said it would be fine.Any other opinions would be appreciated.
