MAINLY CONCERNED ABOUT A BOBCAT AT THIS POINT. THANK YOU, LISA
Lisa, I don't have any experience with bobcats, but I have kept properly fleshed and salted deer capes, coyotes, fox, coons, around for 2 years. Once they are dry, they are pretty stable. They need to be stored in a cool dry place and watch out for bugs.
Bruce
Take Bruce's advice (the other Bruce)! I agree with him 100%!
i havent tanned yet so what i do is salt dry em for 4 months out side inn the sun bring em inn my room and decorate my wall with em i have a few deer hides and rabbits on my wall for 3 years no problems yet just rub borax in the fur side it bug proofes em and fluffes the fur my hides i salted are ganna be tanned soon im ganna use em for practice.
Mice too...Mice will chew a hole right through them. They love the salt!
