Tanning mountain goats

Over the years I have tried many tanneries for the tanning of my mountain goat skins, from the very best, to the not so well known, and one problem always come through, the skins from the very prime late season animals always has alot of sawdust remaining in the hair, and if you were to comb it enough to get the dirt out, then there would be no hair left!
This is also a concern of mine when it comes to the tanning of buffalo capes, I have quit using some tanneries just because I don't feel the capes are clean enough,
I would apprecaite any suggestions and tannery recomendations from those who have already crossed this bridge!
Thanks,

your promble is very true. i run a small tannery in alaska i do my share of goats. the way i sloved this promble was to make sure the hair was completly dry, before i start tumbleing.
the orther way is that most of my customer have me wet-tan there capes. even tho i tumble them there only in there for 20min.
i know alot of people don't like new method, but over all they do and excellent goat i thought.
