What is average wage to pay beginning shavers?

What wage should I pay a beginning shaver? Some of us are a long way
from doing 7 deer capes per hour. Can you shavers out there help?

A little more.

I would say between 8&10$ per hour. If you dont start them kinda high they wont stay long enough to start making you money. Also helps the employee put up with cut fingers while learning.
