Can someone tell me where a good place to send deer off to I have two costumers one wants a rug done and the other wants buckskin made of his just don't know a good place to send them.Thanks for any help.

When a person wants a rug done I use none other that East Coast Tannery 1-877-tan-furs.
As for bucksin,if it's with hair of you will probally need another one for doing this. Garment tanneries are a bit different but not much when it comes to tanning and dehairing hide. I don't have the info in front of me but I'm sure others have a place to send a hide out to get buckskin made.
I used 4 different tanneries this past season trying to find the best.I will say Old Dominion in Va did a great job with good turn around.I wont say on here who wasnt so good ,I will only add beware of fancy advertisements in Breakthrough and Taxidermy Today.
Some of these forums seem like they are set up to do a little advertising! Kinda reminds me of a vollyball player setting up another one for the spike.
Need references for East Coast Tannery and Arlington Capes. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Leah
