Is anyone out there produceing a true fish oil dressed leather? I need full deer or sheep dressed this way for a research grant project.Wash leathers are too thin for my purpose,wich is to reproduce 18th century buckskin breeches. Thanks for any leads Jay

Too labor intensive, and it only would appeal to a small market - so leather manufacturers dont consider it profitable. You would have to find someone doing it on a small scale as custom work. Unfortunately there arent many people out there with the experience and knowledge to still do it.
