My novel is set in an ostrich farming environment and I want to include a scene with a tannery. I need info on the tanning process and also, what are the dangers in a tannery so my hero can escape a fire or an explosion (set by the bad guy) in the nick of time. I live in Florida--any pot'l sources to tour?
