I've salt my skins and now they are hard and dry. I want to know what products or what are the chemicals ex:(a certain oil or acid to break some molecules) to turn those skins soft and washable?
And where I could find those product?
Thanks for the attention you're all gone a put to help me.

I like to use Rittels 609 relaxer to loosen up salt or air

Hello!
I want to know what is possible to use to make the air penetrate the skin first and after what oil I could use like the brai of the animal that some people told me. To finish I think it will need a kind of sealer to make the skin waterproof. I want to know what kind of sealer I could use. ex:(is beaver skin oil is possible?)
Thanks for the answer before but I want more detail than the products of Rittle.
Please if someone knows the old fashion Native technique, it's those that i want to know.

It sounds like you do not have a great understanding of the full proces of tanning. I would suggest buying a book, there are some books out there for the brain tan which is one of the old techniques. It would take a long time to explain what you need to know. The salting you have done is one small step.

Thanks
