if you are not planning to mount an cape right away(maybe a year)is it better leave it in the freezer untouched or tan and then put in freezer. i use ez-100 and if i am not going to mount it right away i freeze it after the oiling...i just not sure for an extended amount of time which is the best.

Put it in an airtight bag and it should last a long long time. I just mounted one that I tanned about 6 1/2 years ago.
