I had a customer drop off 4 semi frozen deer hides to be sent out for buckskin. One particular hide was starting to turn. when it was fully thawed about 2 hours later it was quite bad. I fleshed it on a beam to get all the red meat and fat off of it and salted it heavely. The history on this hide is that it was taken last year, salted by the owner and frozen until two days prior to being brought to me. My question is will it properly dry and is it any good ? will the tannery that I send it to hate me for sending them this hide ?
thanks

Just buy buckskin from Quil Ceda. It is cheaper than sending it in and having it tanned.
