I received a whitetail cape the other day the guy left it in his garage for 2 1/2 weeks,we had a couple of 65 deg. days during that time,the cape smells sour but most of the hair seems tight.My question is,is it worth messing with?

I wouldn't take the chance.
I just got one in that was taken last Wednsday that i'm a little concerned about, but 2 1/2 weeks, magots are feasting by now.
