If I tanned a hide with EZ- 100 would (a muskrat) would there be any sence in smoking it, and if so how would I smoke it.

No - dont smoke it. The only reason they use smoking in Brain Tanning is to coat the fibers with creasote after they have impregnated the fibers with the brain mixture. It adds longevity and color to the skin. With EZ-100 you get a nice white creamy leather. This is also the same color leather that you see when an animal is in prime fur. There is no need to smoke it after tanning - it will already be a very durable and washable leather. Smoke it only if you arehave dehaired it and want a more leather-like color after its tanned.
