I was wondering when you tumble is that to break the hide? Or does it do something else? Also what should i use as a shaving device? I am very new to taxidermy and am not doing lots of hides, just what i want for myself. I am thinking of the ez100 kit the bollmans kits or the other rittles one that is the onestep oil and tan, Which one is the best. Thank you for all of your help it is greatly apreciated.

The EZ 100 kit will be your best bet. to shave, a pair of sissors will do, or you can use a draw knife if you have one. Tumbling breaks the hide in and also cleans any oily residue off the hide and gives it a fluffy look.
