I searched the archives, but I have a question. I sent out a salted WT cape to Interstate in Plattsburgh on Wednesday with a tracking number. Checking the web, they have tried twice (Th&F)and had "business closed-customer not available." Tried calling and no one answers. I hope this cape is not sitting in some hot warehouse over the weekend. What's up? Wouldn't this be the busy season?

...I can gaurantee you that you wont find a HOT warehouse if you shipped UPS, and also that a salted hide wont be harmed in one. UPS knows when and where to get in touch with Wayne or Kevin at Interstate. I just received capes from them Wednesday, so I know they still exist. Im surprised someone would even check tracking numbers after just two days, maybe Im more patient then I even realized? MJ, a dry salted cape will be just fine sent out this time of year, youre fine. Don't miscontrue my questions as a slam against Interstate, because it was not. Only a simple question. I sent it by FedEx, so I'm not sure if they are familar with delivering to Interstate or not? Thanks for the answer about the salted cape being okay. I tracked it because I found that my company's stockrrom sent it out Next Day. I just wanted to see if it was delivered. BTW: You are more patient than even you realized.
Nope, I didnt take it as a slam, either. I just meant what were you needing to find out with your original post, like if They were still in biz, or the salted cape thing, etc. Glad it all works out for you and again, good luck to you!
