Air-dried goat skin

Can any one tell me the differences between Air-dried goat skin
and dried salt goat skin.

salt. I 'm sure thats there is more. The salt is nesscary for tanning.Thats what the experts say ,thats good enough for me.
Maybe George will be along soon and can answer more throughly.


Salt or No Salt!

Paul is right! Air dried means you use no Salt - simply dry them like most Trapper skins - or if you want to tan them yourself - then rub in Salt to accelrate the drying process and to help them relax easier later.
