i have been given a lot of deerhides and want to know a easy or simply fast way of tanning them, i have experience but, not with this many to keep from loosing them all, any help will be appreciated

I think I answered a question similar to this one. Freeze them until you have time to work on them, then thaw what you have the time to work on and flesh,salt,pickle, and tan! Just the hides, capes with the head in them for shoulder mounts? As marc said freeze then work on them when your ready. If their for mounting, cape them out and freeze until you can flesh and salt. Other wise your going to have to do some shopping and get freezers. Their is no quick way to get to the tanning stage then fleshing, turning and salting.
