i have an old coon hide been salt dryed for a year now. almost rock hard how long do i leave in rehydrating solution?
can i put it inn tonite and put in an tommorow after school?
any info is appriciated

Put in the rehydrating bath at 3-4 PM and pull it the next morning "before" you go to school! Mix your pickle at the same time you put the skin in the rehydrating bath - that way when you pull it in the morning - quick rinse it and place it directly into the pickle. It will be fine there for weeks, or at least until you have a weekend to work on it.
