Could anyone recommend a place in northern texas, or the panhandle to get a buffalo hide tanned. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am not sure if they are in the area you asked for but they are in Houston. Go to the search button and type Advantage Fur Dressers and I am sure you will find the number.
I live in the Dallas area. I just got back from Colorado. My friends own a bed and breakfast and we bought a buffalo hide and tanned it ourselves, but.......i know that there are several place in Colorado that tan the hides for you. The going rate for about a 9' X 9' is $750. The work was not that hard to tan it ourselves. you just have to have a large workspace and nothing to do for 2-3 days.
