Why would you want the stink of kerosene?

Low pH on the scale of 1 - 15, the lower the pH the lower the number should be.

Sodium Bicarb, (Arm & Hammer) is on the high side of the scale 12-14 pH

We know from experience that when a acidifid skin that is over neutralized with baking sode will let the hair slip right out of the hide.

Sounds to me like someone has sold you the London Bride on the baking soda/kerosene.

The tanning button on the left contains a couple years worth of reading on just tanning hides.

Good luck.

Is this a bad penny or what!

I havent heard mention of that funky formula in about 15 years. It doesnt work - or if you do do it - NEVER get the skins wet or they'll fizz! And after that - you'll have a raw skin again! So you are back to square one!

Don't forget
