I dont think that will get much respose here for such a post since the majority of the posters / readers are 'Taxidermy / Fur tanning' type specialists. Try the ALCA website. There you may have a better chance I would think.
Best of luck to you and take care.

........for spacious skies....full of well experianced personel who are intriquately skilled in making our revenues stay at home.
and Home of the Free! Long live and God Bless our Great Nation!
But the sad reality of the situation:
Mega corporations mostly, but even the large - medium sized companies have learned that it is sometimes much more cost effective to 'send out' many of our great Industries abroad where labor is cheaper and conditions less stringent. The days of Isolation are over and we have now found ourselves in a 'Global community'. American quality and productivity is without a doubt indisputable....but many of the Corporate Directors today are only concerned about the 'bottom line'.
Years ago America dominated the leather industry having numerous tanneries located all over and was providing domestic and foreign demand well. But Slowly Over time American tanneries began to close one by one as outside tanneries improved and became more competitive. In some regions of the United States where a city years ago once had over 50 tanneries, today may have only 3! And those three strong that are remaining must fight tooth and nail for what they gain. It is a tough Global Market.
Along with our Industry also migrated the desire for the younger generations to join our Trade... naturally. Today in the United States there are only 2 recognized Universities where Leather Chemistry / Science can be studied and degrees obtained. Graduating classes each year are small and there are still 'voids' that need to be filled. I think it is good that outside technicians have the desire to come from abroad and inject life and spirit into an American Industry that many today have no interest.
