cant anyone tell me where to buy a good earbutt casting to study and look at when mounting whitetails

Since they changed hands I dont know if its still sold.

Its really easy to make your own the next time you have a fresh head.

Wipe the hair down with clay, make it very slick. Then mix plaster and guve it a light coating, next do a bit heavier coating and reinforce the plaster with chopper fiberglass matting.

Once it sets, remove the mold before heating begins.

Seal well with Shellac, wax well, cast your refenece with glass reinforced bondo. Then you can break or cut the plaster away.

This is a very cheap method. You can even do your own forms starting this way.

Someday when you get that weird critter in you can use this for modling the head or whole body.
