Not if it is all mounted and the meat or tail bone was not removed. If the tail is slipping and not the rest, it would lend me to believe that the tail was not thouroughly fleshed or preserved either through tanning or DP. If it is a fresh green hide with slippage, salt it down like the rest of the hide. Tails are easily replaced as yotes are a dime a dozen, and a replacement tail can be put on and cant be noticed
