I'm going to mount only 2 deer from this past season and am looking for different options for tanning. I've searched the archives, but haven't found what I'm looking for. I don't have a fleshing machine or any of the chemicals yet. My main question is, is it worth it for me to buy the materials I need to tan them myself or is there somewhere I can send them to to have them fleshed and tanned. The 2 capes I currently have have only been caped out and frozen, no other work has been done to them. Thanks for any help.

You could just send them as they are after freezing them face side out to micro-tan and they will do the rest for $69.00.
Will micro-tan flesh a frozen coon and tan it? This coon ihas just been skined and thown in the freezer. Will they do every thing?
Where is micro-tan located and what kind of time frame would I be looking at? I'm definitely interested in somewhere that will do everything to prep it for tanning and also tan it. I have the supplies to do the mounting, but don't really want to invest in the stuff for tanning since I'm only mounting 2 deer this year.
Go to there web site and check them out. good luck, Jim
I sent them an email with a few questions so maybe by the first of the week I'll hear something back.
