Thanks to all of you for your precious hints for fish tanning.
Because i'm a begginner, i just want to make sure i understood well the steps for making leather from trout skin:
1- remove scales
2- Deliming and pickling
3- Degreasing, neutralizing
What about "tea tan". It is wise to use it to thicken the skin to make it more durable , especially for thin trout skin.
What is your first choice for deliming and pickling products for oiled fish skin ? thanks
