does any one know how to garment tan hides ? thanks frank

It's the finishing. Tanned hides are dehaired, tanned, tumbled/broken and then they are "split". The machine splits the hide as in "shaving" it to the same thickness overall so that the complete hide is soft, pliable, and uniform for manufacture of clothing.
